Venue: University of Worcester Arena 27th November.
Over 1,500 students from all over Britain descended on Worcester for the British Championships.

We had 12 competing from age 8 to 49.

Competing students:
Cian Casey Bond, Georgi Georgiev , Kiara Georgieva, Suliman Khan, Magdalena Montu , Annabelle Murphy, Andile Ncube, Nkosi Ncube, Lee Pocklington, Louise Robertson, Jackie Fletcher, Michael Barford.

The day started off well with Cian picking up Bronze in Boys Green belt Pee Wee sparring
and Louise in ladies Green belt Lightweight sparring. This was followed a few hours later with another Bronze for Jackie in Red belt heavyweight sparring and a hard fought Silver for Mike in Black belt middle weight sparring.

In the team sparring events Nkosi won Gold, Louise, Kiara and Jackie picked up Bronze and Georgi Silver.

We also had our last coloured belt grading of 2022 on December 10th with all 22 students grading passing with flying colours. Best grading awards were won by Rikki Cooper and Hazel Roffey.

It’s been great year for us with over 30 new students joining.
We also had over 100 coloured belt and 11 black belt promotions from white belt to 4th Degree black belt.
