Well done to all our students who entered the Midlands Championships on 25th June.
We had just 9 competing and came home with 9 medals.
Medal or not all our students did us proud.

Zeycan Gullu: Yellow belt girls patterns
Louise Robinson: Ladies yellow belt patterns and sparring
Cayden Hudson: Boys green belt sparring and patterns
Annabelle Murphy: Girls blue belt patterns and sparring
Alice Roffey: Girls blue belt patterns and sparring
Jodie Roffey: Ladies black belt patterns and sparring
Kiera O’Connor: ladies sparring
Suliman Khan: Mens black belt patterns and sparring
Michael Barford: Mens black belt patterns and sparring

Louise and Zeycan were our first medal winner with Bronze in patterns. Louise in the ladies yellow belt division and Zeycan in the girls.
That was quickly followed up with a Silver for Louise in sparring.
Annabelle at just 7 years old picked up a Bronze in girls Pee Wee blue belt sparring.
Alice and Mike were also Silver medal winners in their sparring divisions.
Finally Suli picked up a Bronze in another hard black belt Welter weight division.

In the team events Louise picked up Silver in Sparring and Gold in Patterns making a full set of 4 medals on the day.

Cayden Improves in every competition and was just outside of the medals
after a play off in patterns.
Jodie and Kiera also had hard fought fights but didn't place.

Umpire duties were performed by Julie, John and Jo.
